How I keep your home clean and fresh each time
When I move from home to home I have a process I follow to ensure my equipment and products are clean, safe and fit for use. Here's a rundown of the items I use and how I maintain them for your peace of mind.
Cloths
I use colour coded microfibre cloths for home cleaning which are boil washed at 90 degrees at the end of a day. For toilets and bathrooms I use disposable recycled paper and discard after use. Tools & utensils
I use toothbrushes, cotton buds and drain cleaning tools all the time. These are disposable and all items used on toilet fittings are disposed of after each use. Sprays & liquids
Are kept in secure bottles, clearly marked for use. I carry them in a wipeable box and place high up out of reach if I am working near animals or small children. Footwear
I wear show covers in your home. I don't wear my shows indoors or barefoot. If I am cleaning a wet room or shower I sometimes wear indoor crocs but these are indoor only and specifically used only in bathrooms and wet areas. Electrical
Steamers, vacuum cleaners and other electrical items have been pat tested and safe to use. Info on the go pro style camera that you can opt into can be found here. Eco-friendly cleaning & allergies
Sometimes clients request strictly eco-friendly cleaning for reasons such as beliefs, pet care, allergies or sickness. I can accommodate this. |
