It's just cleaning. Right? It's not a small thing inviting someone into your home. Especially as a key holder. Our homes are our safe space and to be respected and valued. Sometimes our pets are home by themselves and it isn't easy to leave them with a stranger. I understand that.
When you join me as a client I will offer you a copy of my DBS certificate, insurance certificate and a welcome pack containing answers to some frequently asked questions, and some you might like to ask but wouldn't. You can view these here. |
About me |
My experience |
I live in Hartshorne with my two children (twins), and my partner. I was born in Derbyshire and lived here until 2008 when I relocated down to the South coast to follow my passion to live by the sea.
My background has always been in health & fitness and then in marketing. I then formed a career in strategic marketing for other businesses until 2019 when personal circumstances led to me needed to adapt to being a solo parent. The challenges of being diagnosed with ADHD in my adult life and parenting led me to revaluate the work I do. It was important for me find something that aligned better with the management of my unmedicated diagnosis. I find cleaning and being active is by far the most enjoyable aspect of my work. My background in marketing helps with the development of my business. I set up a business and I offer support to women who are struggling with their mental health, dealing with stress or seeking their own solutions to what life throws at them. We have several event, mostly by the sea, and share some outdoor time with a chance to discuss problems, plans and solutions for the future. www.thehumandogwalker.co.uk |

If you're interested in my working background here's a link to my LinkedIn. I find cleaning is by far my favourite thing to do for work as it gives me the flexibility to work around my young kids, the exercise really helps my head and physical wellbeing and I get to listen to podcasts and music all day long with no office politics to contend with - what's not to like! People I have worked in hospitals and private care for years as a HCA L2 and as a roaming carer undertaking personal care and minor clinical duties for a wide range of personal needs assisting clients who suffer from MS, Strokes, post op recovery and the elderly. I am trained in manual handling and the use of most hoists and slide sheet use. Animals When I left school I set up a dog walking/pet sitting business and have walked more dogs than I can count. I am used to rescue and abused animals and small mammals. Cleaning Experience I've run several cleaning companies in the past and have experience with both residential and commercial sectors. For anything outside of my remit I have some good professional contacts I can refer you to. |
